After sleeping on it, I think the ideas discussed in #any-suggestions last night are worth a trial.
Our biggest problem: The game is too punishing for newcomers. We need to solve this before we market again.
Solution: Create a new casual game mode with respawns and no darkness. Call it Faucet instead of training. Rename the current Faucet to "Ranked". Give the new Faucet lower rewards (but higher than current training) and no ratings/stats/etc.
This all hinges on the new game mode being still fun though, so will whip something up quickly and we can test it, before putting any serious work in. Will try to have it up and running by end of Monday.
