Have different kinds of games backgrounds, instead of the same dark background to freshen things up. For example you start in the grass background and the darkness would be a dirt background Each game you its a randomly selected background Another one could be rock background and the darkness would be lava, I think these would be cool and appealing for new players to play. Have an option to disable the backgrounds you don't want to see (like a check box), for example, some players might just want dark mode.
